The End of Suburbia
Presented in a paradoxically light-hearted style at times, this 78-minuted documentary provides an introduction by a variety of experts to the implications a worldwide dwindling oil supply will have on our American way of life. At the time the movie was made this was an impending issue. Oil was still well below a $100/gallon. Everything's Cool

Though it features a wealth of information-packed graphs and charts, the film is presented by director Davis Guggenheim in a thoughtful, compelling, sometimes humorous and always
engaging way.
What A Way To Go: Life at the End of Empire
Becoming quite a cult hit with the under 30 crowd, this 123-minute documentary
presents a more personal and psychological perspective on the overwhelming
challenges of peaking fossil fuels, degraded ecosystems, a changing climate, fast-
growing worldwide population growth, and vulnerable global economies present to
daily life as we know it.
