“This work is prophetic in a time of rampant development and disconnection from our Earth …. May the voice of your book bring awareness to many!  Thank you for your gift in writing it.

“Through her characters and their story, Edwards expresses the angst/ennui/longing of modern day humans in Western culture engagingly - and proceeds to share a simple, natural cure. Sitting with the Enemy has stayed with me in many ways and has impacted some of my personal decisions-- the mark of a truly good book, and proof that fiction can have a powerful impact on Life!!”                                    Allison Weeks, Education Director, Attraction Retreat

“A great novel for a long, lazy weekend.”

"I decided to take a day to just relax and read and I opened up this novel to have a quick peek. Oh my goodness!  I literally couldn’t put it down! I don't remember when I have enjoyed reading a book as much as this!  It is a fantastic book!  The characters are so well developed and interesting, and the subject matter is so apropos to the hectic and stress filled lives most people live today. I relished reading this book so much that I almost didn’t want to finish it. I would HIGHLY recommend this book, especially anyone who enjoy books by Anita Shreve, Elizabeth Berg, and Anna Quinlan I have read everything they write, but this book by Sarah Edwards entertained me as much as any of their works, and I hope she writes a sequel, as I want MORE!!                                                                                                                        Pat Badolato

This book is a very enjoyable read, one that kept me guessing, and I truly didn't want to stop reading. Sarah Edward is a great storyteller If I could have I would have read the entire novel in one sitting. It's one of those books you don't want to put down.  It’s that good and that interesting, really holds your attention. Throughout the day when I would be doing other things, I found myself thinking about the characters and wondering what would happen next.  I recommend it to everyone.  I loved it from beginning to end, especially how nature is incorporated into the story in so many special ways. When this novel ends, it’s like losing touch with good "friends" you’ve made while reading. I would love to read more about these fascinating characters. That is the mark of a great novel. I hope there will be a sequel.

Got this book and absolutely DEVOURED IT. What a fantastic story. I didn’t want it to end. It's still sitting out and I keep looking at it thinking ... gee - I wonder what's happening now. I want a sequel!

“I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed this book!  It was very good and believe me, there were areas you touched on that I could really relate to. Thank you for the gift of writing this wonderful read. Keep writing.  Susan Duell

“Your book is touching some chords... sore points actually.  I live in the country but I don't feel the sense of community ... with people.  I used to think I wanted to be a hermit when I was a teen, but, alas, that was just my desire to escape, run away, and not a satisfactory way to fill that void in my life.  Life is good for me in so many ways, but I guess something is still missing …”    Arja-Kaisa Naskali, Nova Scotia

“Just started reading Sitting With the Enemy and believe me, it's hard to put down.”
                                                                                     Judith Munson, Life Coach

”I have been reading your book, and I am hooked.  I love the way you have drawn on your surroundings and your life experience and pull all the pieces together to make this story.  Isn't that what creativity is all about, after all?  Pulling the pieces together and making something that has never existed before?” “I finished your book while I was in Detroit last week, and I want to tell you how much I enjoyed it. You are a good storyteller. I really got into these characters and was moved from one page to the next with great interest.  It is an easy read with an important message, one that every one on earth should know about.”     Pat Weisberg, author

“It’s a self-help book in a story!” Joan DeBruin

“ Your book totally resonated.” Brenda Hill, author
